TOP 1,000 Florida
Three counties count for 90% of TOP 1,000 houses in Florida. These counties are:
- Palm Beach County 54.1% (49.7% in 2021)
- Miami-Dade County 19.2% (22.7% in 2021), and
- Collier County 17.6% (16.6% in 2021)
Palm Beach County increased its share in 2022 with 44 more houses in our TOP 1,000 list compared to 2021. Miami-Dade County's share decreased by 35 houses from 2021. Collier County had 10 houses added in our TOP 1,000 list compared to the list from 2021.
Median Just Value for TOP 1,000 houses in Florida was $24,572,249 in 2022. Since 2014, the Median Just Values for the TOP 1,000 houses have changed as seen in the chart below.
Due much in part to Florida's attractive tax climate, which includes no state income tax, a majority of the TOP 1,000 homes are the primary residence for owners, with about 59% being eligible for homestead tax exemptions in 2022. In 2021, homes with homestead exemption counted also for 59%.
In 2022, 3140 houses (1606 in 2021) were valued over $10 million in the State of Florida. About 80% of the "8-Figure Club" houses are in three counties:
- Palm Beach County: 39.7% (42.8% in 2021)
- Miami-Dade County: 22% (24.2% in 2021), and
- Collier County: 19% (17.2% in 2021)

Since MansionQuest.com started collecting data, the increase in homes valued over $10 million has been 529.26% from 499 in 2013 to 3,140 homes in 2022.
