Three counties count for almost 90% of TOP 1,000 houses in Florida. These counties are:
- Palm Beach County 45.5%
- Miami-Dade County 29%, and
- Collier County 15.4%
TOP 1,000 houses in Florida have average just value of $18,154,253. By regions, the average just values are as follows:
- South Florida $40,279,087
- Southwest Florida $20,475,638
- Panhandle $5,929,621
- Central Florida $5,729,486
- Tampa Bay $5,484,588, and
- Northeast Florida $5,165,086
Due much in part to Florida's attractive tax climate, which includes no state income tax, a majority of the TOP 1,000 homes are the primary residence for owners, with about 59% being eligible for homestead tax exemptions.
In the State of Florida, there was 1,165 houses valued over 10 million dollars in 2017. Almost 89% of the 8-Figure Club houses are in three counties:
- Palm Beach County: 43.8%
- Miami-Dade County: 29.5%, and
- Collier County: 15.5%
In the State of Florida, there was a 4.8% increase in homes valued over 10 million dollars, from 1,111 in 2016 to 1,165 homes in 2017. Since MansionQuest started collecting data, the increase has been 113.47% from 499 in 2013 to 1,165 homes in 2017.
